How to: Embed data from Word to Excel.
Solution:
Copy the Word data using the 'Copy' command. Switch to Excel and embed the data to a workbook using the 'Paste Special...' command.
1) Open the Word document.
2) Select the text to be linked.
3) Select the 'Edit' menu and select 'Copy' to copy the text.
4) Click 'Microsoft Excel' on the taskbar to switch to Excel.
5) Open the desired workbook.
6) Select the appropriate sheet.
7) Select the cell where the copied data should start.
8) Select the 'Edit' menu and select 'Paste Special...'. (The Paste Special dialog box appears.)
9) Select the 'Paste' radio button.

10) Select 'Microsoft Word Document Object' from the 'As' list box.
11) Click 'OK'.
